Rental Policy

At Big Time Ridez, we value your trust and aim to provide a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable rental experience. Please read our Rental Policy carefully, as it governs all bookings and vehicle rentals with us. By reserving or operating a vehicle from Big Time Ridez, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Renter Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: Minimum age is 21 years. Some vehicles may require a higher minimum age.

  • Driver’s License: A valid government-issued driver’s license is required. International renters must also provide an International Driving Permit (IDP).

  • Insurance: Renters must show proof of full coverage auto insurance in their name, including comprehensive and collision coverage equal to or above the vehicle’s replacement value.

  • Credit Card: A major credit card is required for the security deposit. Debit and prepaid cards are not accepted for deposits.

  • Verified Drivers Only: Only authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Unauthorized drivers will void the rental contract.

2. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit ($1,000 – $10,000+) is required prior to vehicle release.

  • Deposits are processed as a credit card hold and released once the vehicle is returned in the same condition and without additional charges.

3. Rental Inclusions & Charges

  • Mileage: Rentals include a set mileage limit. Extra miles are billed at the rate stated in your agreement.

  • Fuel: All vehicles require premium fuel only. Proof of purchase may be requested. Incorrect fueling may result in damage charges.

  • Additional Fees: Renters are responsible for tolls, tickets, citations, late returns, and any related costs during the rental period.

4. Vehicle Care & Responsibility

  • Condition: Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received, including cleanliness.

  • Damage & Negligence: Renters are responsible for all damages, neglect, or excessive wear.

  • Loss of Use: Renters will be charged for the time a vehicle is out of service due to damage.

  • Prohibited Uses: Vehicles may not be used for racing, reckless driving, off-road driving, or unauthorized events.

5. Driving Restrictions & Compliance

  • Weather Conditions: Vehicles may not be driven in snow, flooding, or hazardous conditions.

  • Traffic Laws: Renters must obey all laws and regulations. Any fines or violations are the renter’s responsibility.

  • Unauthorized Repairs: No modifications or unauthorized repairs are allowed.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Cancellations: Cancel at least 72 hours before the rental date for a full refund.

  • Holiday Cancellations: For rentals during major holidays/holiday weekends, cancel at least 7 days in advance for a full refund.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 72 hours (or within 7 days for holidays) are non-refundable.

  • No-Shows & Early Returns: Not eligible for refund or credit.

  • Company Cancellations: If Big Time Ridez must cancel due to safety, mechanical issues, or vehicle unavailability, you will receive either:

    • A full refund, or

    • A comparable replacement vehicle, subject to availability.

7. Important Notes

  • Availability, pricing, mileage, and deposits vary by vehicle. Confirm details before booking.

  • Big Time Ridez reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet requirements or violates this policy.

  • Please review your rental contract for any additional model-specific conditions.
